ATTENDING LESSONS & PRIVATE EXAMS
All of the exam boards have now officially cancelled the upcoming exams in May/June 2020. You may be aware the Department for Education has decided that they will use students predicted grades and information from their teachers to award them a fair grade. However, this method will be difficult for students who have entered for exams privately as we have not closely worked with the students so are not able to provide the exam boards with accurate and fair information. The Department for Education is working closely with all of the exam boards and the government to try and produce a way to award students who have been entered for exams at private exam centres a fair grade but as of now we have no further information on how they are planning on doing this.
The exam boards have said that there will be opportunities to sit exams in the Autumn term when schools re-open as well as in Summer 2021.
Alternatively, if students wish to be completely withdrawn from their exam please let us know before the 14th of April 2020. Please note there is an administration fee charged for students who wish to withdraw however in light of the current circumstances we will be reviewing this and letting students know what the administration fee will be once we know more from all the exam boards.
Thank you for your patience and support as we work to provide you with more details.
